Good lord, I am truly living in the house of misery. Between me and my general lurgy and job woes, Dad is starting night shifts tonight, on a temporary basis but nevertheless night shifts away.
Oh, and Megan just discovered her boyfriend (you know, charming chap, gave her chlyamidia) has in fact been cheating on her. More specifially, Megan is in fact the bit on the side. None of us are surprised by this, except perhaps Megan. Heartache is no fun - I've been there - but oh dear. Megan tends to react in a way that can only be called emo to any kind of upset of any slight description, so she is currently floating around in a dressing gown and playing loud music. I wouldn't mind, and I actually understand to an extent, but Christ I would like some sleep and loud repeats of some random Lost Prophets song at 3am is not helping my calm.
(My poor mother.)
Fortunately I have discovered the best way to deal with ear infection pain in the same way I dealt with it as a child, i.e. block it up with cotton wool, so that's keeping out a lot of the woe.
In other news I got the car serviced today which unfortunately involved clearing out all the winter crud, including two fucked up tyres due to the potholes we now have because of the ice. The rest and recuperation is going marvellously, thank you for asking.
