So, a few weeks ago I went to a party in Manchester and I couldn't decide how to do my hair. However, having just watched The Pandorica Opens a little part of me went 'Hey, if River Song can kick ass and have big curly hair and no one judges her then lo! so can I!' So I wore my hair out for the first time in about ten years, with no pins or bobbles and I felt fabulous. Unfortunately my hair was rather long at the time so whilst it loked good I did not feel that I had quite lived up the awesome of River Song.

Anyway, today I got my hair cut and had braved myself to explain certain concepts such as yes, I quite like it curly, no, I do not want to let you anywhere near me with a blowdryer, etc. Instead, the hairdresser briefly appraised me and cut my hair exactly as I wanted it and then dried in the way I wanted. IT WAS A MINOR MIRACLE.

Okay, so, I am not very good at taking pictures of my hair and I tend to gurn a lot in photos.


But I am just as bad at camwhoring and none of this was very good at showing off my actual hairstyle, although it showing off marvellously some of the poor interior decorating choices I made when I was thirteen.


But this was I think shows it off to the best.

It is looking a bit big at the moment as it was very windy today, but I am pleased that it looks awesome and a little bit River Song. AND YES I JUST GOT MY HAIR CUT TO LOOK MORE LIKE A DOCTOR WHO CHARACTER WHAT OF IT. It is naturally curly and this colour so I don't think it'stoo bad. Possible.

I hate hairdressers because I never come out feeling happy. I need my hair cutting and I don't know what to do.

I went for 'okay, you are the first people in the Yellow Pages within walking distance and if worst comes to worst then my hair will grow back.' And it worked! HURRAH.

Yeah, there's a hairdressers at the bottom of my building. I'm going with the 'I can't afford a hair cut right now' excuse though.

Well, that is a very good reason. I went for two years without stepping inside a hairdressers for that very reason!

I am very bad at taking photos of myseld and always tend towards scary gurning than looking even slightly human. Oops.
