I am quietly and only a bit illegally honestly getting through Season 3 of True Blood when I have the time, and it is bringing me immense joy.

I am surprised to find, though, that the best line of the whole series goes to an exchange between Sookie and Lorena.

Sookie: If you kill him, I swear I WILL kill you!
Lornea: Oh, please. Please try. ... I would just love to rip you open and wear your ribcage as a hat!

I am going to use that phrase far more in conversation. Wonder if I can drop it in during a casual phone conversation in work?

In other news, Eric remains unexpectedly attractive in the most bizarre of get-ups, including random period clothing and a hideous blue jumper.

I really should remedy the fact I have no True Blood icons.

Eric is totally hot. Even in a Sue Sylvester-esque tracksuit. Series 3 is very good, although it's over now and I have this 9 month wait until it is reborn...

They're showing the second season on channel 4 now and I've just been reminded of his hideous Sue Sylvester look, although it did give me a last opportunity to mourn for his longer hair, which I was a fan of!

Thank god for bad internet skills - technology is rationing me to two episodes a weekend, which means I'm putting off the inevitable!

Am still in season 2, and Eric is just starting to get interesting. The dream sequence just after Sookie sucked his chest (come on, how dumb can she get?! But also how lucky...) was hot. The actor has beautiful naked thighs.

And season 3 is better, even? Excellent!

He is just so beautiful and it gets better! At the start I was all "psssh, Eric the best looking? On a show with Sam and his well-toned backside?" but then I noticed Eric properly. Oh MY. He remains marvellous in season 3, although I fail to see how he could be anything but!
