I am officially bored of this weather. It's warming up here, thank goodness, but I have The Fear about driving to Scotland on Saturday; Richie is obviously very keen to see me, as it's his birthday, but it makes me a bit flaily seeing weather reports about people bring trapped on the M8 for 12 hours. I have every intention to pack all my blankets, a sleeping bag, several interesting bags and enough food to feed a quite considerably large army, but it's still very scary. *wibbles*
Also, my back really hurts. It hurts on either side, actually, which would normally make me think I was coming up for an exciting kidney infection, but I have no other symptoms of a UTI or indeed any illness at all, and believe me I am constantly hardwired to keep an eye out for them. It's very, very irritating either way and another thing to put in my pile of Things To Worry About.
One less thing to worry about, however, is that I have my car back! Whilst the rest of this month and indeed next month will be frugal in terms of food, etc, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and more importantly I HAVE MY CAR BACK and I will freely admit that it's driving much better now. Perhaps I just appreciate it more. Either way, it took a great deal of willpower not to hug him, howling "NEVER LEAVE ME AGAIN, ODO". Suspect this would not have looked too classy at the garage.
