It's snowing fairly epically in Ormskirk. I left work early today as my boss has now gone properly insane and threw us out at 4pm. As such, I went into Ormskirk to get my ring re-sized. It will be away for a week, and I'm very sad about this; my hand feels all empty! I came out though to discover that Ormskirk was finally getting snowmageddon, and as such thought 'eh, fuck it' and did my weekly shop on the basis that I might not be able to get out again for a few days. (By 'weekly shop' I mean a loaf of bread, some broccoli, and six bottles of wine, as I didn't have a shopping list.) It's stopped now, and it looks rather pretty, although I have no idea how I'm going to send all of my Christmas parcels tomorrow as I'm not sure how I'll get out of the road...

I went to the pub last night. I drove out, and intended not to drink, but I was talked very easily into having a pint, and then I had another three and spent the night sleeping on Jo's sofa. I am very tired now. Julia and Ed seem to be out for the evening (or are possibly stranded somewhere?) so I'm about to go and get into my pajamas and sit in front of the tellybox in the armchair. Mmmm, armchair.

A week to get your ring resized? That's pretty good - mine was away for 2 whole months and it was horrible to be without it for so long! The shop let me have another one in a box to sit and look at though....
