I have a full blown stonking headache, the kind that means I can't think properly, or move my head properly, or contemplate anything further than when four hours have ticked by and you can take more painkillers. It feels like the worst hangover headache ever, except with the taunt that I haven't had any booze since last Friday, unless emerald_embers damson gin jam counts from yesterday.

It is with irritation, therefore, that I've just realised I forgot to buy any milk when I did my weekly shopping this afternoon, and now have to head out into the wild and windy day again and somehow feel sane enough to nip to Spar. DAMMIT MILK IS THE ONE GROCERY ITEM I CANNOT COPE WITHOUT. I knew there was a reason I used to keep emergency powdered milk in the house.

... on the bright side I had a lovely lie-in this morning and have at least managed to get all my other household chores done. Hey ho.

Have you tried sinus medication? Morrisons do it on the cheap and it diesn't have painkillers in it so you can take whatever you're already taking with it.

I say this after a series of horrific, nauseating, got to take a minute to recover after moving my head headaches which weren't touched by the co-codemol. I didn't have any other sinusey problems, but just tried it because NOTHING WAS WORKING and it helped!

(also, at the very least it's not going to make you feel worse)

I really should do that, particularly because I am still on post flu/cold/whatever is wrong with me. My ears are finally fully popped, but now I am THE SNOT MONSTER which is as unattractive as it sounds. Why exactly I haven'tconsidered this before I'm unsure. I am quite stupid at the moment.

(Did the e-mail I sent you turn up? It was the BRAIN DUMP OF DEATH and also I was v. hungover so I'm slightly afraid it makes no sense in words that other people speak.)
