hathycolI have lots to write about, including The Birthday Weekend of Too Much Wine, or why I'm so tired I might fall over at the moment. (The two are, I must admit, rather linked.)
However, here are some things to read. Firstly, here is an ill-informed and vile article in the Guardian that's basically decided that all fanfiction is written by women who wish to sexually humiliate their favourite characters: In the beginning, there was fanfiction, on the Guardian.
And when you've finished shouting about how badly written, badly researched and frankly ignorant it is, go and look at this rather lovely video about the history of fandom, and feel better about yourself.
Hopefully tomorrow will be the end of the Great Passport Name-Changing Drama,and I will have time to tell you all stuff about my life, and all the exciting unpaid overtime I'm doing right now. FINGERS CROSSED.
