Apr. 9th, 2003 04:36 pmI've, quite literally, just seen histroy take place. Came through the door, and Dad went "I think the wars ended..." (Dad spends his days off watching the news. Sad git.) and totgether, we watched the American troops pull down the bigass statue of Saddam Hussein.
I'm not sure how I feel about it. Kinda sad and happy at the same time. It's a weird sensation. I've never seen anything like that take place on line TV, unlike Dad, who was reciting the space walks and the fall of the Berlin Wall and stuff.
Enjoyable day at school today. Ate all my lunch by about 11am and I'm still not hungry. We had cooking, and I made, and ate, six pieces of eggy bread, also ate some beans on toast and a bigass piece of chicken in barbeque sauce. And then I ate a cornetto. And then I felt sick. But DAYUM! It was FUN! Not had a fun food tech lesson in ages.
Then scived maths for *blushes* orchestra, where no less than six people, including the teacher, asked me how my G-String was. Smiled painfully and plotted their deaths.
Then didn't really do much else for the rest of the day. Entertaining as usual. Was supposed to go to history revision, but didn't, because...
1. Mr Grimes was teaching it
2. It's just exam techniques, and I DO NOT need to sepnd a stiflingly dull hour doing them again.

4. I have a concert tonight, and stuff to do before I go play/sing

God, the mans a BASTARD. And I'm glad I didn't go, because I would have missed those amazing pictures on the TV.
Oh, CRAP I was supposed to wake Dad up 15 mins ago. Oops. Hope he doesn't notice.
Well. I'll go now. I have to go and shower before my last ever concert. *sobs and while cheering* On the plus side, all my friends are actually coming tonight! The Andrews AND Lorna AND Katie. They've never come to a concert before. Apparently they're all toddling to thje dance show in July too. Cool!
