I love my friends. I love each and every one of them, but at the moment, I really, really prefer Lorna, Andrew, Lewey, Katie and Jess. Oh, and "Lewey's bird" otherwise known to people who aren't us as Lucy.

My fantabulous and wonderful friends all turned up the concert last night. To desribe concert in order....

7.00pm- Turn up. Tune in cello. And the string that also plays a G.

7.10pm- Hysterical phone call from friends, who are all at the gate. Guide friends to seat, and scoot backstage to help the slightly hysterical Chelsea, who had forgotten the words to Pie Jasu. Reminded her she was singing Think Of Me. :)

7.30pm- Begin concert. When I clambour on stage with the rest of the orchestra, friends begin clapping enthusistically.

7.45pm- Orchestra finishes playing Pachelbels Canon in which I have a minor moment playing by myself. Friends cheer.

7.50pm- Brass band finishes playing. Colleen's brain wakes up from trumpet induced pain.

8.10pm- After various solos and odd quietness from friends, choir gets up to sing. First shout of "whoo whoo!" from the back row of friends. During singing, there's dancing to the fast one and swaying to the slow ones. Mucho cheering afterwards from friends, and second occurance of "whoo whoo!"

8.15pm- Move away from the orchestra for the interval. Whilst doing so, BREAK FREDS FUCKING CELLO. (Fred is the nickname for the other girl who plays the cello) Bridge pops out and strings gone to buggary. Due to the hysterical look in my eyes, teacher lets me off and I go and meet friends, who laughed at me for breaking Fred's cello. Then they hugged me muchly and told me that I was doing very well.

8.20pm- Found out I have royally buggared up Fred's cello. She is glad, as has excuse to scive cello for the rest of the year. Teacher just laughs at me, and tells me its an accident.

8.30pm- Potentially due to boredom, friends have gone insane and were randomly cheering at the end of various songs. Fun! "Whoo whoo!" count in the hundreds

8.45pm- June's solo. Felt rather sorry for her, as she was the only soloist who didn't get cheers after she played. But at the same time, was frelling hilarious, as Hayley developed Tourettes syndrome while June was playing... "crap! You're crap!"

8.50pm- Choir on again. "Whoo whoo!" count off the scale, now combined with shouts of "GO COLLEEN!" and Lorna's rather loud yell of "Sexy arse, babe!" (My parents were also there. Whoops.) They all cheer afterwards, too. Yeah!

9.10pm- Last song. Whole audience, spurred on possibly by El Friends, are all very nice during La Bamba (and all I can think of is the FS episode La Bomba) and clapped along and stuff. Pretty lights. Then, just before the last bit, pretty lights all flicker off and we're left in complete darkness. Orchestra grinds to a halt as audience erupt in laughter.

9.15pm- All year 11 music students have to go up on stage. This is the reason I love my friends. They ALL stood up and cheered and whoo whoo!ed and Mexican Waved and stuff. I don't think I've stopped smiling yet, I love then SOOOOOO much, they didn't have to come, and indeed never have before.... awwww. I'm gonna cry.

They're all marvellous, they really are. :D

AND Megan went to France last night. Gave her lots of useful advice, like "Voulez-vous choucher avec moi, ce soir?" should be met with a slap, to shout "Merde!" in times of stress, preferably in front of teachers ("Oh, don't worry Megan, it just means damn..."), to hum the American National Anthem and to remember that the best phrase in the world is "Je ne comprende pas, vous parler Anglais?" closely followed by "Je voudrais un choclat, s'il vois plait". I have the house to myself, more or less. YES! C'est fantastique!

In other news, had last ever maths lesson today. End of an era, it really is. Twelve years of suffering, all ended! Yay! Tomorrow, science too!

I think thats about it. Just... generally... it's weird. I'm really happy in school, socially, for the first time in all my life. And lessons were good today, mainly because no teachers were in and we messed around. Fun, really. Physics was especially entertainign, since we were diverted to Mr Grimes room, and James and I (i.e. the two who argue with him cus we're bright enough to cotradict him, and not bright enough to realise that arguing with the staff is a bad idea) nearly had heart failure, until it turned out that Mr Tayler was teaching us. (Music teacher) Which was much better, cos he just let us mess around. Fun!

Happiness! Namarie! ~Hathy_Col~
